Every gift helps us to reduce the burden on our guest families. With your help, we can provide a warm, comfortable bed; healthy meals; and surround them with love and support when they need it most. Ronald McDonald Houses located throughout Southern California help families stay close to their child when they need treatment for a serious medical condition. Our Houses provide a home-like setting, close to the region's top hospitals, where families can stay free-of charge for as long as necessary. To provide and maintain a supportive "home away from home" for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at Cincinnati Children's.
RMHC serves millions of children and their families each year, but more need our help. Yet, simply because we don’t have enough sleeping rooms around the world, 138,000+ families are turned away each year. Your donation can help us to expand to fulfill the needs of more sick children and their families. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati has been supporting families from around the world for nearly 40 years. To date, we have welcomed more than 37,000 families into our Home.
Our 177 bedroom House provides private bedrooms, delicious meals, indoor and outdoor play areas, comfortable living rooms, games and activities, and much more. Cincinnati Children’s is the third ranked children’s hospital in the country and one of the best pediatric hospitals in the world. As a result, the medical center attracts some of the sickest patients from countries around the globe who travel here for care and need places to stay.
Financial donations enable us to support families when they need it most. We also welcome corporate and social groups to prepare and serve a meal for our families through our Taste of Hope program. We also have regular and single-day volunteer opportunities available. Attendance/sponsorship at our fundraising events is also a popular way to support our House while having a great time!
Ronald McDonald House provides free living accommodations for patient families receiving treatment at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. You can help families in their darkest hour by joining our team of committed Guest Services Volunteers (GSVs). GSVs interact with our staff, other volunteers and our amazing families. It’s easy to fall in love with our House, our mission and the families we serve. Just ask the volunteers who have been with us since we opened our doors! Our House simply could not care for our guest families like we do without volunteer support.
CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Sunday a charity event will benefit sick kids receiving treatment at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and their families. You can put your swing to the test with a fun event at Top Golf and it all benefits the Ronald McDonald House. Our families arrive frightened, stressed and in need of care and support.
